It was a gritty and riveting evening -- a benefit for Ana's surgery fund -- and the bands were all in as they cranked up the volume and launched into their punk, blues, goth, prog tuneage that oozed into the pores of the stoked crowd. On Sept. 5, the Clock-Out Lounge in Seattle gave Sioux City Pete and the Beggars, The Glutz and Eve's Black Heart full dominion of the stage and deliverance was achieved tenfold for Ana, whose brilliant bassing for the Beggars is always a mind-blower.
