Stacked bill. Packed venue. A cracking good time.

That's the way it went down when the formidable and humor-heavy duo of The Chats and Cosmic Psychos from Australia colligated with San Diego's frenetic Schizophonics and Providence, Rhode Island's rollicking Gymshorts at a sold-out El Corazon in Seattle on Oct. 4.

On night six of the foursome's 28-date cross-country tour, this stellar gig reached madhouse proportions, and another few songs could have sent the walls tumbling down. The vibrancy was palpable from both bands and crowd that easily matched a host of ultra-stellar and rambunctious gigs we've attended over the years. 'Twas a deadly one, as the kids say.
