Rev it up and let it fucking roll.
That was the way of the Megaphonies, The Fucking Eagles, Perfect Buzz and Hi-Line Lanes on a brilliant night of full-on ripping tunes on Jan. 16 at Slim's Last Chance Saloon in Seattle.
Sacto's Megaphonies let loose with a Dangerhouse Records-sounding set to cap off the evening, which began with Seattle's Hi-Line Lanes' array of Pacific Northwest hits from the '60s, a rumbling set from Portland's Perfect Buzz and the ever-so-stomping offerings from Tacoma's The Fucking Eagles.
And, hey, DJ Thirst N Howl was also in the house supplying the garage punk tunes in between the acts.
It's nights like this that make Slim's the place to be. We are truly bummed that Slim's will soon be closing as we'll miss checking out bands and munching on their fabulous chili and cornbread in this magical roadhouse.
